Aug 15, 2025 marks the 80th anniversary for the end of WWII.
To symbolize peace and prosperity, two olive trees were planted at Eagle Field in Fresno County.
We were honored to be joined by many esteemed guests.
We would like to especially acknowledge and express our gratitude to:
Fresno County Supervisor Brian Pacheco
Mr. Paul Nerland, County Administrative Officer
Consul General Yo Osumi, Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco
Vice Consul Mina Watanabe, Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco
Mr. Ben Gallegos, City Manager of Firebaugh
Dr. Joy Goto, Honorary Consul of Japan in Fresno
Mr. Seth Ramirez, Director of Business Development, Fresno County EDC
Mr. Marc Benjamin, Chief of Staff, County of Fresno
Mr. Dale Ikeda, former Honorary Consul of Japan in Fresno
It was a true honor to welcome all of you to Eagle Field. Thank you for your support.
